How Heather Cumming works?

When my friend Heather Cumming asked me to write a bit of prose about how she works, I thought, what an interesting question, but an easy one to answer.

First, I am very biased towards Heather. To me, she is an angel, who seems to be at the right place, at the right time with a calming presence and grace possessed by few others. She has helped me, without any financial reward, on numerous occasions and I have watched her help countless others. Watching Heather work usually makes me smile and feel there is hope for humanity. She is truly a kind soul with a heart of gold.

When I think of Heather at work, I also think of competency. She displays a great deal of competency in all that she does. The people she is guiding through the foreign land of Brazil (her native country) are in good hands. Heather seems to be very comfortable both in the US and Brazil and her comfort is quickly transferred to all those she helps.

When I think of Heather, the words "on top of the situation" come to mind. The spiritual energy of Abadiania brings about a lot of emotion and uncertainty from those who go there. For most, it is challenging and even somewhat unnerving. Having a calm, experienced and loving guide like Heather is essential to making the most of what can be a positive life-changing adventure.

How does Heather work? Like few others - with many gifts and insights from God - with a reassuring calmness and quiet competence that only enhances the experience of those she serves.

Bill Hayes produces documentaries and non fictional programs for primarily the Discovery Networks - Discovery Channel, TLC, Discovery Health Channel, Animal Planet. He is currently directing and producing the most challenging (and rewarding) film of his career. The documentary is about the Brazilian healer John of God. He interviewed Heather Cumming and some of the people she has guided for his film. Heather also served as the official translator for John of God for the film. Her guidance and support are a blessing.

Dear Heather,
We have just arrived from our first trip to Abadiania and I want to let people know how wonderful person you are:

We (my husband and my son) speak Spanish and since we had been many times in Brazil on vacations we can understand Portuguese. So we had decided to travel on our own and met Heather there “by chance”.

I have to tell you that I have met so many “sellers” of spirituality in my life, that I was quite skeptical regarding guides. But I was deeply moved by Heather’s loving nature. She helped us as if we have traveled with her, answering our questions and talking to the Entity (even though I am sure the Entities can understand “Portuñol”, a mix of Portuguese and Español languages, we felt better addressing them in “good” Portuguese).

My advice is that if you speak only English, going on our own even though is not impossible, it is a bit difficult. And for sure Heather is the best guide you can choose. You may read about her skills in her website, but you will not find there what makes the whole difference: her heart. She is such a beautiful person that I cannot find words to describe her, and her integrity is beyond words. Believe me: if you need to travel accompanied by a guide, she is the best choice you can make.

Dear Heather,
I truly want to thank you for being in Washington last weekend for our seminar with Medium Joao. I am so thankful for all I experienced there; I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in this event. I want you to know how much I appreciate your contributions to the event.

I have had the most amazing experience in the past week. Even though I definitely feel "post-surgical", I feel as if I am vibrating at a much higher frequency. It's as if I and all the others who were there have become transmitters for the light which Joao and all of us invoked. I've been feeling the effects of my surgery and resting a lot, but it hasn't affected the strength of that vibrational frequency. It's an odd combination; I feel energetically wonderful but physically weak! My sense is that as I get stronger from the effects of the surgery, the light will become anchored even greater in my body even as my physical condition improves.

I am so grateful to you for coming to our event, for translating and for being so careful and comprehensive in the information you gave us. I'm glad you were so cautious in asking Joao if I could stay for the Sunday program after my Saturday surgery. I would have gone home if told to, though I really didn't want to be anywhere else than where Joao was, and with all of you! I'm being careful to follow the instructions and am feeling stronger every day. I've noticed some physical changes already and am waiting to see what the next few months bring in terms of healing as well as new energies.

Most important, though, is the work we all did invoking the light. I feel the power of that work every day and am so privileged to have been part of it. Thanks again for helping to make that experience possible.

J and I wanted to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the way in which you guided us through our Brazilian experience. I have been on tours before and others have acted as guides without much involvement. You, on the other hand, were there for us on every level. As a tour guide you performed with tremendous skill and adaptability to the challenge of moving a group of us who were all going through healing on every level. As a human being you demonstrated some of the best qualities any of us could hope to manifest namely, temperance, patience, compassion and love.
Our healing continues and we have returned to a life that holds new promise. Thank you for your love and being such a good friend. We will undoubtedly do this again. In the Light and Love of God.

Dear Heather,
"I was not only impressed by your leadership and the commitment to service you demonstrated. I also value very much your fluent Portuguese speaking ability, your Brazilian-American background and your respectful knowledge of the local culture, all of which I know to be rare among the various Abadiania groupleaders, but which I consider essential in a groupleader. I managed to pick up some Portuguese during my lengthy stay, but it is not as easy as Spanish, and remains a rather bewildering, mindboggling and not infrequently frustrating language. For people who are only going to be in Abadiania for a few weeks and/or who don't speak Spanish, I have no idea how they can manage to get around comfortably, especially if they have special needs, without a native speaker close by. One becomes severely limited to choice of pousadas. To go out of town would also not be too easy, as I found, despite my limited Portuguese vocabulary. Most importantly, I would also have liked to have someone else available, who ideally knows something about my particular health situation, besides the few overworked Casa volunteers (whose English may not be as fluent), to help translate conversation with the entity. Abadiania was an experience of a lifetime, despite any language challenges. I nonetheless hope to catch you on your next trip to Abadiania."

The trip to visit João de Deus has been life altering for me. I can never doubt that "death" is simply a transition from one state to another. Nor can I question the perfection and synchronicity of everything in the universe because I experienced both from the start of the trip to its finish. During the trip, it felt like we were being protected and guided. Everything flowed. I experienced what I have heard for many years: love is all there is. Since returning home. I have begun to experience compassion for others. The trip so moved me that I have been unable to discuss it without shedding tears. I received four physical healings: heart, lower back, sacroiliac, and right arm. During the crystal healings, a good deal of emotional healing took place. It continues. The entities have come back with us. After returning from Brazil a Reiki client informed me that the color of the energy she saw was different-that it was now cobalt blue. This is the healing color associated with the entities from the Casa. I call on them before each healing session and feel their presence and guidance. Of all the individuals over the world who are in need of healing, I feel so blessed to have been one of the fourteen in our group to experience such a powerful phenomenon.

Ingrid: How does John of God, the spiritual healer in Brazil, affect the beings who come for healing to him? I suppose that he and his entities stimulate change on all levels. Would you be specific?
Monitor: "Their activity is guided by Soul and represents Soul collaboration. The personalities and related beings, act as agents of Grace and healing work within that context, providing a demonstration in the physical plane that cannot be denied by the usual mechanisms of rationalization and pure denial.

Question: In Abadiânia, Brazil, is a so-called sacred waterfall, and we were encouraged to step into it for purification. I am wondering a) what makes a waterfall sacred, and b) what effects it has on human beings?
Monitor answers: "The waterfall is energized both by devas and angels drawn to the area through the work of John of God and those who have proceeded him in that region. The devas and angels have created a rarefied type of vibratory force that more easily induces experiences of Higher Consciousness into elementals within its range of influence. A human being is affected by that vibratory force, feeling a sense of sacredness that comes with induction of Higher Consciousness into the lower forms of consciousness of body elementals and devas.
Body devas of a personality benefit as much as body elementals from that specific type of force. They sense a Greater Being in which they have their existence. Body elementals experience much the same type of realization, yet they interpret their realization in slightly different terms. The net effect may be described as transformational of body substance in all the bodies of a personality."
